The Australian camp Day hike is a single-day trip around Pokhara. It is one of the easiest treks that is feasible for people of all ages who are seeking quality adventure weekend trips. It is the most popular short trek which boasts some fantastic sunset and sunrise views. Moreover, the magnificent views of Annapurna Himalayan Mountains range and the gorgeous view of Manaslu range adds more beauty to the experience. Mostly we begin our trip from Kande village (1770m) to Australian camp (2,100m), Dhampus village (1650m), Dhital village. So that we can observe the living style of local people, culture and traditions. Along the way we can see the stunning mountain views throughout the journey.
We can even visit nearby places like Pothana and Pitam Deurali if we have time.

Itinerary
Day 1: (Option 1 - For 1 Day Hike) Australian Camp Trek Itinerary
At 8 Am in the morning after breakfast by car/jeep to Kande(1,770m)50 mins drive, and starts your hike all the way to Australian Camp(2100m) you'll enjoy the beautiful mountain views with the lunch, and after you'll descending to Banskot(1130m) via beautiful Dhampus village(1650M) and Dhital village, from Banskot by car/jeep to Pokhara, 6 and half hrs including lunch break.
Day 1: (Option 2 - For 2 Days Hike) Australian Camp Trek Itinerary
Day1 - After your breakfast at 8 AM Pokhara to Kande village(1,770m) by Car/jeep(50 mins) and start trek to Australian Camp(2100m) 2 hrs,– after lunch in Australian camp go around the village called Pothana(1950m) – hike a further distance to Pittam Deurali(2,100m)and come back to the camp(3hrs). Overnight stay at the tea house.
Day 2: (For 2 Days Hike) Australian Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 2- Get up early in the morning for the Sunrise, enjoy the amazing closer mountain views and after come back to the lodge have breakfast then hike down to Baskot(1130m) via beautiful Dhampus village(1650m), Dhital village(1350m), and drive back to Pokhara by car/jeep, 5 hrs, including lunch break.
