Overview about Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

EBC Tour is a day trip that will take us to the base camp of the world’s highest peak. We begin our Heli tour from Kathmandu, flying to Lukla airport, a land of beautiful Sherpa village. From here we continue to fly over the base camp and Kalapatthar, one of the best trekking destinations in the world. The journey allows us to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes, fantastic snow-capped mountains, and freedom in the Himalayas. We stop at Kala Patthar view point(5,600m) for the amazing views of the world’s highest mountain, Khumbu glacier, and its neighboring Himalayas. You will be standing there in the lap of the tallest peak just in a day with this tour. The heli tour takes around 3 to 4 hours, including the flight to Everest Base Camp(5,364m) and a short stopover. After exploring the view we fly to Syangboche(3700m) and spend around 30 minutes for breakfast while also admiring the great Himalayan Vista. We fly back to Lukla for fueling and return to Kathmandu and end our amazing heli day tour of Everest. The day tour of Everest Base Camp heli cost is quite competitive to prove its worthiness. It really gives us a unique opportunity to reach the base camp of Everest and Kala patthar view point. During the heli ride, you will get to witness breathtaking aerial views of several peaks, including Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam etc.

Best Time To Travel

The best time to take this tour is from October to April. Although spring and autumn are Nepal’s best tourist season, a heli day tour in the winter guarantees equally clear views that will have you mesmerized. However, being the monsoon season, the months of June, July and August are not recommended.
