Overview about Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Your jouney begins in Pokhara,where you will explore the cultural gems of nepal’s capital before travelling to base camp the trek starts from nayapul and through picturesque landscape of ghorepani. Where you’ll be enchanted by the sunrise view from poon hill continuing through lush forests and villages, youll reach the framed Annapurna base camp. En route, you’ll encounter the machhapuchre base camp and the stunning modi khola gorge. The Annapurna sanctuary  unfolds before you,surroundedby towering peaks like Annapurna I machhapuchre and himchuli.

Itinerary

Day 0: Airport/Bus Park Pick up

Pokhara Airport/Tourist bus park picks up on arrival and transfers to the hotel, and trip plan at the office.

Day 1: Pokhara to Ulleri village(1950m) 6 hrs, including lunch break.

After breakfast from the hotel, we start our journey at 8 am, west of Pokhara, to Heli village(1,430m) via Nayapul town, by jeep 2 and half hrs drive, and ascend hike up to Ulleri village(1,950m), where we encounter our first view of Annapurna South(7,219m) and Hiun Chuli(6,434m), overnight at the local teahouse.
 

Day 2: Ulleri to Ghorepani(2850m) 6 hrs, including lunch break.

After breakfast, our trek commences to Ghorepani(2850m) via Ban Thanti, the forest becomes dense as we continue uphill through the Rhododendron forest and beautiful spring river with stone steps to Nange Thanti(2430m). Then we arrive Ghorepani village of Magar people. Overnight at the local teahouse.

Day 3: Sunrise at Poon hill then trek to Tadapani(2,640m) 7 hrs, including lunch break.

To capture the amazing moment of this trek, we leave early morning for Poon hill(3,210m) we hike 50 minutes above where we stayed brings us to the stunning sunrise views over snow-capped  mountains, world’s top 7th  highest(Mt. Dhaulagiri 8176m) and 10th highest(Annapurna one 8091m), panoramic views etc. After spending some time we descending to the lodge and have breakfast, and trek to Tadapani village.
The small village located on a hill top surrounded by rhododendron forest, and where we have a closer view of Annapurna South(7,219m) and Machhapuchhre(6,997m)(Fishtail peak) Hiun Chuli(6,434m), Annapurna III(7,555M), Annapurna IV(7,525m) and Annapurna II(7,937m). Tadapani is also famous for Sunset and Sunrise. Overnight at the local teahouse.

Day 4: Tadapani to Lower Sinwa village(2,050m) via Chhomrong village(2,170m) 6 and half hrs, including lunch break.

After breakfast, descending down hill through the rhododendron forest and beautiful Gurung villages(Chuile) (Shiprung)(1,750m) we cross the suspension bridge over the Kimrung Khola, and ascend hike to Ghorjung village(2,050m) and via Durpin danda we arrive Chhomrung,(Gurung village), form here we have beautiful views of Annapurna south, and Hiun Chuli, Machhapuchhre and the Modi valley. And we continues descent to cross the suspension bridge over the Chhomrung khola, a stone stairway takes us to Lower Sinwa village. Overnight at the local teahouse.

Day 5: Lower Sinwa to Deurali(3,200m) 7 hrs, including lunch break.

After breakfast we climb uphill to Modi valley, passing through rhododendron forests and farmland we continue to the top of the main path above the river where the small village Upper Sinwa(2,340m). The ascent becomes more gradual as we enter the dense forest of bamboo and rhododendrons before reaching out at Dhovan(2600m), we may encounter Himalayan Langur and Deer. We Continue upwards through the forest trail to Deurali.

Day 6: Deurali to Annapurna sanctuary(Base Camp)(4,130m) via MBC(3,700M) 4 and half hrs, lunch camp.

After breakfast the trail begins along the gorge of Modi river. As we continuing we pass several spectacular waterfalls, and moraine boulders on our approach to the gates of Fishtail Base Camp, the landscape becomes a wilderness. MBC presents a great panorama of Annapurna I(8,091m) Annapurna III(7,555m), Ganggapurna(7,454m)Gandharwa Chuli(6,248m) and also well known peak Fishtail(6,997m) it is the Nepal's sacred mountain. After enjoying the panorama we climb up to Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight at the local teahouse.

Day 7: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo(2640m) 6 and half hrs, including lunch break.

Special morning offers us the amazing views with sunrise. We hike bit over the ridgeline to enjoy the surrounded view of the massive south face of Annapurna South(7,219m), Annapurna Fang(7,647m), Annapurna l(8,091m), fluted peak(6,501m) and tent peak(5,695m) Ganggapurna (7,454m), Annapurna III (7,555m) and vertical north face of Machhapuchhre (6,997m). After exploring the place we head down to Bamboo.

Day 8: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda(Hot Spring)(1,780m) 6 hrs, including lunch break.

Today we continue to descend through the Modi Valley until we arrive at the suspension bridge of the Chhomrong river. From here a long steep ascent to Chhomrong village we then descend very steeply through terraces to our destination Jhinu Danda. And in the late afternoon we go down to the Hot-Spring and take bath and relax and enjoy nature. Overnight at the local teahouse.

Day 9: Jhinu danda to Pokhara. 4 hrs.

After breakfast we descend short down hill steps and cross the Long suspension bridge over the Kimrung Khola, and continue with our gradual hike along the Modi valley to Himalkyu village, from here by Jeep to Pokhara 2 and half hrs drive. Lunch will be taken on the way. We then drop you offf at your hotel.
