Overview about Mardi Peak

The Mardi Peak Climbing Expedition spans 8 days and offers a seamless blend of trekking through the enchanting Annapurna region and technical climbing to reach the Mardi Peak summit. The journey commences from Kathmandu/Pokhara while on the trek it takes you through traditional villages, terraced fields, and lush rhododendron forests. The ascent to Mardi Peak involves harnessing climbing equipment, navigating snow-covered slopes, and conquering challenging ridges. At the summit, you’re rewarded with sweeping views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Itinerary

Day 0: Airport/Tourist bus park

Airport/Tourist bus park picks up on arrival and transfers to the hotel, short arrival info and trip plan at the office.

Day 1: Pokhara to Naudhoke(Meshram kharka )(2690m)

Pokhara to Saidighatta(1500m) by jeep 1 hrs drive and trek to Naudhoke(2690m) 7 hrs including lunch break.

Day 2: Naudhoke to Upper Korchong(3600m)

Naudhoke to Upper Korchong(3600m) 4 hrs, lunch camp.

Day 3: Upper Korchong to Tholibukeni(south base camp)(4120m)

Upper Korchong to Tholibukeni( South Base camp)(4120m) 4 hrs, lunch camp.

Day 4: Tholibukeni to High Camp(4470m)

Tholibukeni to High Camp(4470m), ascending to greater heights and soaking in majestic views. 2 hrs, lunch camp and acclimatization.  

Day 5: Rest day for acclimatization at High camp

 Mountaineering skills training with Sherpa climbing guide and Acclimatization to adjust to higher altitudes. Explore and rest.

Day 6: Summit Mardi Himal Peak (5587m)

 High Camp to Summit Mardi Peak(5578m) and back to high camp 8 to 9 hrs, and after lunch break hike to Pipar Kharka Lake (3050m), celebrating your achievement.

Day 7: Pipar Kharka to Karuwa(1380m)

Trek from Pipar Khraka to Karuwa, takes about 5 hrs, lunch camp.
 

Day 8: Karuwa to Pokhara

Trek to Kharpani 2 and half hrs, and by jeep to Pokhara 1 hrs drive.Lunch in Pokhara. Reflect on your incredible journey.

What‘s included

    National Park entrance fee and Trekkers’ Information Management System( TIMS card).
    A highly experience, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, English speaking, well-trained, Government license holding guide. Price includes his salary, food, drinks, accommodation, transport and insurance.
    02 guest to 01 porter (Max weight limit for a porter- 20 kg (10 kg per trekker, weight limit).) with their insurance, salary, food, accommodation and equipment.
    We provide an assistant guide his salary, food, drinks, accommodation, transport and insurance walking with group to support where necessary as per the group size.
    Accommodation in the mountain during the trekking.
    Three meals a day; breakfast, lunch and dinner and tea/coffee during the trekking.
    Water purification tablets for safe drinking water.
    Snacks (cookies) and seasonal fresh fruits every day.
    First aid kit box.
    Duffle bags, city and trekking route maps – if necessary.
    Arrangement of emergency evacuation service (should have insurance for emergency evacuation and will be paid by your travel insurance company).
    All applicable government and local taxes per the itinerary.

What‘s excluded

    Your Nepal Visa fees.
    All the International air fare to and from Kathmandu.
    All meals and accommodation in Kathmandu and in Pokhara.
    Kathmandu to Pokhara to Kathmandu/Chitwan transportation (if you want we can organize for you with additional cost).
    Personal travel and health insurance as well as insurance for helicopter evacuation.
    In case of extra nights’ accommodation, lunch and dinner in city due to early arrival and late departure as well as early back/return from mountain/trekking (due to any reason) than the given time period of itinerary. We can help you arrange extra nights’ accommodation.
    Your personal expenses such as (laundry, baggage charge, phone calls, battery recharge, bar and beverage bill, boiled or bottle water, hot and cold shower, extra porter.. etc).
    The tips to the trekking crews and drive.
    Extra expenses due to flight delays, strikes, weather condition or any event out of our control.
