Itinerary
Day 0: Airport/Tourist bus park
Airport/Tourist bus park picks up on arrival and transfers to the hotel, short arrival info and trip plan at the office.
Day 1: Kathmandu/Pokhara to Koto village(2,600m) 8 hrs drive.
After breakfast from Kathmandu or Pokhara, we will embark on a bus journey to BesiSahar. The ride will be thrilling as it takes us through rugged terrain and beautiful gorges with cascading waterfalls. We will stop for lunch along the way. The drive will follow the old Annapurna Circuit trek trail. We will spend the night at a local teahouse.
Day 2: Koto to Meta(3,560m) 7 hrs, including lunch break.
After breakfast we will start our trek. The route to Meta will take us through beautiful dense forests, past small cave shelters and resting places for pilgrims. We will also have the opportunity to see cascading waterfalls and amazing mountain vistas. We will stay the night at a local teahouse.
Day 3: Meta to Phu-Gaon(4,080m) 7 hrs, including lunch break.
On this day, we will be exploring the local culture and traditions of the Tibetan-influenced village of Phu Gaon, which is located at an altitude of 4080 meters. After breakfast, we will embark on a gentle 7 hour hike to Phu Gaon. This trek will allow us to learn about the local community’s unique architecture, customs, and values. We will also visit the Nar Phedi monastery and Tashi Lhakhang Gompa, which are the day’s main attractions.
Day 4: Acclimatization day at Phu-Gaon.
Today is an exploration day, which means we will spend time in Phu Gaon to get used to the high altitude. We will take a short hike to the base camp of Himlung Himal (7,125m) that was recently opened for climbing. Along the way, we may see herds of blue sheep expertly navigating the steep cliffs. After our hike, we will stay the night at a local teahouse.
Day 5: Phu-Gaon to Nar Phedi (3,490m) 6 hrs, including lunch break
Nar Phedi is our pre-planned destination for this day. After breakfast, we will set off to Nar Phedi from Phu Gaon. Explore the amazing vista, landscape, and Nar Phedi monastery. Stay overnight at the local Teahouse.
Day 6: Nar Phedi to Nar (4,110m) 3 hrs, including lunch break.
Trek to Nar from Nar Pedi, we will pass through a windy path. Explore the wonderful ancient village and their handmade product, Annapurna trails etc. we need to walk for about 3 hours to reach Nar Pedi.Stay overnight at local Teahouse.
Day 7: Nar to Ngawal village (3,675m) via Kang La Pass(5,399m) 8 hrs, Including pack lunch.
Today is our chailanging day to Ngawal village via Kang La Pass which leads back to the popular Annapurna Circuit region. It is not a difficult pass, but it can be a long day as the effects of altitude will be felt. You can explore the great views of snow-capped mountains Annapurna II, III,IIII, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak etc. Stay overnight at a local Teahouse.
Day 8: Ngawal to Manang village (3,540m) 4 hrs, lunch camp.
After breakfast we will trek through pine trees and in between we can see beautiful small ponds and beautiful views of Annapurna 3, Gangapurna, Khangsar Kang, Tilicho Peak and Pisang Peak. After that we will hike in a zigzag trail and continue on our trail to Manang. Our destination is a large Tibetan lifestyle village, with numerous stupas and monasteries, surrounded by mountains. Sunset and sunrise over these great peaks are truly amazing. Stay overnight at a local Teahouse.
Day 9: Manang village to Besisahar(760m) 7 hrs by jeep.
After breakfast, we will get ready to Besisahar, A fabulous town besi Sahar is our ultimate destination of the day. Lunch will be taken on the way, Overnight at Hotel. Tomorrow, early in the morning we will get ready and take a scenic 5 – 6 hrs drive to Pokhara or Kathmandu.
Day 10: Besisahar to Pokhara Or Kathmandu, 5 to 6 hrs drive by Jeep.
Today we pack up our trekking equipment and leave Besisahar by jeep early in the morning to reach Pokhara or Kathmandu, lunch will be taken on the way. We then drop you off at your hotel.
There is also the option of a shorter drive to Pokhara and a flight back to Kathmandu or by Tourist bus, many trekkers spend some days of rest and relaxation there before going back to the KTM.
